“Information is Beautiful Awards”是为了鼓励和奖励在图表设计、数据、信息可视化方向上做出优秀表现的设计师和设计作品，至今已经举办了四届。今年，“Information is Beautiful Awards”除了团体项目类之外，更是延伸到了个人及学生项目，以此来鼓励更多领域的人参加。在下篇中，将为大家介绍更多优秀的制作软件。

有太多可视化的信息图在使用“地图”作为元素，但他们往往因为过于写实的地界曲线，让屏幕上的阅读变得非常困难。“伦敦方块”项目就是解决这一难题的绝妙尝试。
他们把伦敦的行政区按照方位全部简化为一个个方格，方格中间的迷人曲线则代表了泰晤士河——最标志性的城市元素，把伦敦分割成两个区域。这张底板设计完成后，一些适配在小屏幕上的数据运用就可以变得更加易读。
