Description:

Designing a good website with a large amount of content can be very challenging, but we did a great job on the portal revamp of Netvigator.com. Artist used boxes and graphical planes to divide the information into visual categories, invisible grids to contain the content within consistent structures, different information hierarchy signs to form a visual language for users to follow, and enough white space to give users room to breathe. In the end, we created a clear content-rich branded website!

My responsibilities:

Overall, project management for the whole process of the portal's revamp

-discuss the UI & execution with client & internal creative team
-set the production budget
-release the production timeline by phases
-QC with client and polish the work with internal art team (concept & layout)
-monitor platform's working process (frontend and CMS) & UAT
-monitor the deployment to client's testing server
-build up the upgraded server linkage
-better arrange the existing website's rich content
-monitor the feedback/comment after the launch, stay fine-tune with production team
-prepare the user instructions & guideline for client's engine team

Achievement:

Netvigator.com runs very stable and the information appears very clear to all users, no need to worry about the traffic problem, and potentially increases more consumers to apply the telecom service. My client is one of the biggest telecom service supplier in Hong Kong, they are very pleased with the final product's operation with fashion look. It is a successful new look for Nevigator.com from year 2001. The new portal wins W3 sliver awards after its soft launch.
